The Village Project was born from a simple, urgent observation: Black men in our community were missing a bridge between potential and achievement. We saw that intervention often came too late, and we decided to build a 'village' that shows up early, consistently, and with love.
Our Mission
We surround young Black men with positive mentors who show up, listen, and help them recognize the inherent value in themselves and the boundless possibilities for their futures. We believe in surrounding young Black men with positive, consistent relationships that help them recognize their value, expand their possibilities, and make choices that protect their futures.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of every young man in our village. Prospective mentors undergo a thorough application and screening process before being approved and matched. This ensures that every connection is built on trust, consistency, and a shared commitment to positive growth.
